Mesut Özil made his first start for Arsenal after a nearly four-month layoff today in the Premier League against Aston Villa. It didn’t take very long for the German World Cup winner to make an impact, setting up Olivier Giroud with the go-ahead goal via a fancy, no-look flick at midfield to exploit Villa’s insanely high defensive line.

With Alexis Sanchez out with a hamstring injury, Arsenal will need a lot more of this from Özil going forward.
